Assessment / Evaluation

Specialize in individualized evaluations. Apply psychometric (in)formal appraisal methods to collect data (aptitude, achievement, cognitive, dexterity, interest, mental/behavioral/emotional, personality, etc.) to assess rehabilitation counseling diagnoses, develop intervention plans, and to guide or to opine on evaluee capacity or on the delivery of services.

Career Counseling

Certified career counselors serving diverse populations within the scope of the field: individual and group counseling and assessment; counseling, coaching, consultation, and performance improvement to explore and develop career goals, direction, plans, and implementation strategies; apply cutting-edge technology, research, and career information.

Recognized experts in forensic rehabilitation analysis across many jurisdictions or social insurance systems: personal injury, workers’ compensation, bankruptcy, marital dissolution, Social Security Administration, pensions, and more.

Credentialed professionals developing life care plans or medical cost projections across the country or the world for individuals with catastrophic injuries in litigation or other purposes, such as special needs trusts (aging or family members with disabilities). Dr. Barros-Bailey is graduate faculty for a life care planning certificate program promoting evidence-based practice.
